How it started

Verdurino started as a three minute pitch for the final project of the three-year Game Design course in SAE Milan. The project would be developed from November 2021 to October 2022 attending the last year classes, with more freedom to focus on the project in the last two months.

Our objective as a team of three was to make a game that felt refined and showed our skills while keeping it manageable with our limited resources. Because of this we choose to make a game for a younger audience that would require less complex features to develop in unreal. It would also benefit the two artists that joined us later with it’s cartoony style, allowing for more material to be developed.
